Playball California is a sports skills program for young children age two to nine. We start with the basic movement patterns and age-appropriate physical activities for the younger kids and advance to sports drills and game play for the older students. Our curriculum was created in 1982 and is constantly being updated by child development specialists, sports experts, occupational therapists, coaches and teachers.

9th Gup - White Belt. 8th and 7th Gup - Gold Belt and High Gold Belt. 6th Gup - Green Belt. 5th Gup - Purple Belt. 4th Gup - Blue Belt. 3rd Gup - Red Belt. 2nd and 1st Gup - Brown Belt and High Brown Belt. Blalock Martial Arts began nearly three years ago and has grown quickly to eight schools! Two all age classes are available in Mint Hill and Tega Cay.

Developed over 25 years ago in South Africa, Playball is the first children s programme to recognize and actively incorporate LIFE SKILLS development through SPORT. The aim of Playball is to expose young children between the ages of 2-7 years of age to constructive and enjoyable movement, as we believe that creating a positive attitude towards sport and physical activity at an early age is the key to lifelong participation.
